Experience the magic of winter in the area around Merano: There is an ice rink in the centre of Schenna from mid-November to the beginning of January. Come and experience the Christmas market in Merano, test out your skills and courage on the slopes of the nearby ski areas or simply relax for a day in our wellness area, then round off the day by the open fireplace – come and enjoy winter at the Hotel Gutenberg and Residence Alpstein!

There are various lifts to take you directly up the Merano 2000 ski area. Most of the 40 kilometres of pistes are of medium difficulty and thus also suitable for children. Experience the white splendours of nature on gentle forest walks or long snowshoe excursions. The Alpin bob, toboggans, cross-country skiing and ski tours are also available. There is plenty here for kids too: Lucki’s outdoor playground, ski schools with lessons for both juniors and adults, while for the youngest visitors there is comprehensive childcare available with a ski kindergarten and moving carpet. For adventurous snowboarders and freestylers, Merano 2000 offers a well-equipped snowpark with kickers, rails, tubes and boxes – something for everyone!
